The engineers who worked on the Porsche 911 Turbo managed to achieve this while still making the car quite economical, requiring just about 12.8 litres for every 100 kilometres. With the optional Triptronic S automatic transmission, it is possible to achieve even higher speeds, whereby the Porsche 911 Turbo can go to 200 kilometres per hour from standing start within 12.2 seconds. Whether it uses automatic or manual transmission, the Porsche 911 Turbo can attain a maximum of 310 kilometres per hour.
This time, Porsche's new special is based on the entry-level 911 Carrera Coupe and Convertible models boasting a black theme inside and out, and adding numerous extras and features. Production will be limited to just 1,911 examples worldwide with sales to start around April.
