Ranveer Singh was spotted pursuing an unsuspecting girl in Lucknow, but don't flip out, he was just playing his role as conman Ricky Bahl on the set of Maneesh Sharma's Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

Ranveer wore a bright turquoise Lucknavi embroidery kurta, slicked down side parted hair and thick mustache. His look of feigned innocence was perfectly rounded with a black tabeez.

Ladies vs Ricky Bahl started shooting in Lucknow on June 17.

In two stills released from the Lucknow shoot, Ricky is seen walking with a suitcase, his eyes set on his next victim, Lucknow resident Saira, played by Aditi Sharma.

The scene was shot at Lucknow's crowded Chowk market area.

According to the TOI, a Chowk resident named Ravindra Dayal has rented out his 110 year old heritage home to be used as Saira's clothes shop in the film.

The four-day schedule in the city includes shooting outside the Bara Imambara.

Anushka Sharma is not part of the schedule.

Ladies vs Ricky Bahl is a fun-filled "ROM-CON" where a smooth and charming conman, Ricky Bahl, cons girls for a living but finally meets his match.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film additionally stars Dipannita Sharma and Parineeti Chopra.

The film is scheduled for a December 9, 2011 theatrical release worldwide, the same weekend Band Baaja Baaraat released.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have rubbished a report in a national daily that the couple's four year old relationship has hit a rough patch, calling the report a figment of someone's imagination.

In a press statement issued through his publicist, Saif Ali Khan says, "Id like to reassure our fans and well wishers that all is well with Kareena and I."

"We are working hard but we always make time for each other. All these rumors are disturbing and untrue, especially when families are brought into it in such bad taste.

"I wouldn't like to say anymore except we are very happy together."

In an unsigned report this morning, the daily alleged that Kareena and Saif's busy schedule isn't leaving them with any time for each other. In the past, Kareena used to be the busier of the two and Saif would accompany her when she was shooting away from home. Lately, Saif too has become very busy with Aarakshan and Cocktail and has no time to accompany Kareena.

More insidiously, the daily suggests that Saif is financially stretched because of delays in his home production Agent Vinod and has issues with Kareena spending his money on her family!

"The news has deeply disturbed both the couple and their respective families," says a source. "They have always been open about their relationship and are alarmed with these rumors planted by sources with vested interests."

Krrish 2, headlining Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, will start production in October and be ready to release in a year's time.

The film, produced by Filmkraft, Hrithik's home production, additionally stars Vivek Oberoi as a villain and Chitrangada Singh as a mutant.

The film was to roll in mid June, but Hrithik and Priyanka have been busy filming for Agneepath; Hrithik has also been promoting Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara; As a result, Krrish 2's start has been pushed back by four months.

"We're just waiting for the storyboard to be completed because when you make a film with special effects, you have to have all your frames sketched and approved on paper. Only then can they be executed inside the studio. Once that happens, the Krrish sequel will roll in October; wrap up in March and probably release next monsoon," Hrithik told HT.

Talking about Hrithik and Priyanka's look, Priyanka said, "This is a sequel and both Hrithik's character and mine, Krishna and Priya, will remain the same. But our looks will be different from the previous film. The setting will be contemporary, so our attire will be designed keeping that in mind."

Hrithik will play triple role in the film - father, son and grandson.

Hrithik reassures that Krrish 2 - like the earlier films from the franchise: Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish - will feature captivating music and dance.

"Krrish and Koi Mil Gaya (2003) had their scores and dances which didn't look out of place in the movie, but took the story forward. I guess that will be the case with this film too."

It's time for Sonakshi's detractors to eat humble pie as the 24-year-old star lays into them not with words but a calendar that doesn't have a free date right through to early 2012.

Joker

Sonakshi recently wrapped the second filming schedule for Shirish Kunder's Joker with co-star Akshay Kumar.

Vishwaroopam

She will start shooting for the Tamil action thriller Vishwaroopam with co-star Kamal Haasan in July.

Rowdy Rathod

In August she will begin filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali production Rowdy Rathod with co-star Akshay Kumar. The action thriller will be helmed by choreographer/director Prabhu Deva. The film is a remake of S.S. Rajamouli's Telugu 2006 film, Vikramarkudu, headlining Ravi Teja and Anushka Shetty. Teja plays a double role in the film - a small time thief and a cop.

Race 2

Abbas Mustan's multi starrer crime thriller Race 2 will begin filming in October. The film is a sequel to Race (2008). Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reprise their roles but the rest of the cast is new.

Kick

Shirish Kunder's remake of the similarly named South romance action film headlining Salman Khan. Filming will begin in January 2012. The film is a story of a man who loves challenges in life and does things to get a kick out of them. This will be Sonakshi's second film with Salman after her debut film Dabangg; Sonakshi says she will have more substantial role in Kick as compared to Dabangg.

Dabangg 2

The sequel to Dabangg that producer and director Arbaaz Khan says will bigger and better than the original will start filming early next year, taking the story forward.

Sonakshi is not part of Sajid Nadiadwala produced multistarrer Housefull 2 as has been widely reported.

Katrina Kaif looked sublime in a midriff baring two piece flamenco dress at a live concert to mark the launch of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara music at Nirmal Lifestyles Mall in Mulund, Mumbai on Saturday evening, June 11.

Katrina was joined by co-stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin as well as the music director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy on the stage.

The 26-year-old star enthralled the audience cavorting to the Senorita track from the film, sung live on stage by the film's three headlining male stars, the original singers of the song.

Katrina was dressed in theme. She wore a black ruffled long skirt and a red polka dot knot front top.

A chunky red flower adorned her off center parted wavy hair. She wore fresh face makeup look.

Kalki, dressed in a mini dress featuring spiritual patterns, also joined the group to dance and joined Katrina for a photo op.

Hrithik had the time of his life dancing and singing. He wore a red and white plaid sleeveless collar shirt atop a white muscle tee, blue faded jeans and white sneakers.

Both Farhan and Abhay wore jeans and sports jackets atop their tees.

Sonakshi Sinha's first regional film, Tamil thriller Vishwaroopam headlining Kamal Haasan, will begin production in July in London.

Kamal Haasan will also direct the film, replacing original director Selvaraghavan, who is busy with another project and will not be available for another couple months.

Initially set to roll in March, the film's start date slipped to June. Haasan decided to wield the megaphone himself in order to preclude any further delays.

Hassan, 56, has also written the story, screenplay, dialogs and lyrics of the film.

He last directed the Tamil film Virumaandi in 2004.

Music for the film is being scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Haasan and the music trio earlier teamed for the 2000 Tamil film Aalavandhan, released in Hindi and Telugu with the title Abhay.

Vishwaroopam is being produced by Telephoto Films. It is scheduled to release on November 7 in three languages including Hindi and Telugu.

The film is budgeted at a whopping Rs 150 crore, the costliest Tamil film ever made.

Sonam Kapoor dropped jaws in a sparkling Atsu Sekhose number at the presser for the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Kalina, Mumbai on Monday, June 6.

Sonam, who turns 26 on June 9, was announced first ever brand ambassador for the IIJW.

Akshay Kumar and Russell Peters executive produced Indo-Canadian film Breakaway, which packages Bollywood glamor to western sensibilities is getting press attention in Canada.

The film is a serious attempt at making Bollywood – Hollywood joint productions look happenstance.

Madhur Bhandarkar's much anticipated film Heroine - headlining Aishwarya Rai, Arjun Rampal and Arunodya Singh - begins production today, June 7, in Mumbai.

Aishwarya, 37, is back on a film set after nine months, having last faced the camera for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, with co-star Hrithik Roshan, in September 2010; but during the period she has filmed promos for products that she endorses.

Heroine, a UTV production, was announced at Cannes Film Festival on May 13, and is being filmed in a start-to-finish 45 day schedule.

In the film, Aishwarya reportedly plays a superstar actress whose career is on the decline, and she is terrified of fading into obscurity.

The film pairs Aishwarya with two male leads, Arjun Rampal and Arunoday Singh, both playing characters inspired from contemporary Bollywood, scriptwriter Anuraadha Tiwari tells Sawfnews.com exclusively.

Ms. Tiwari custom tailored the script for Bhandarkar, and tweaked it when Aishwarya replaced Kareena Kapoor as the lead star.

"Yes we did alter with the change of lead, quite a bit." said Anuraadha.

Manish Malhotra will style Aishwarya in the film.

Bhandarkar has made the entire Heroine cast and crew sign a non disclosure agreement and banned media and visitors from the film's set, to preclude a plot leak.

Here is the synopsis released along with the press note at Cannes:

"The film is based on the life and times of a superstar heroine from Bollywood. It is said to be an entertaining, daring, emotional, shocking, glamorous, scandalous behind the scenes account of the reality behind the world of glitz and glamor that the film stars inhabit. Bhandarkar considers this film to be his magnum opus.

The title song of Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap posted on YouTube early Monday morning, June 6, packs more thrills than the theatrical trailer posted earlier.

The 2m 10s YouTube video has Bachchan singing the title song acapella in the background while bashing up bad men in the foreground. It has some old fashioned action sequences harking back to the days when Bachchan ruled supreme as Bollywood's action hero.

Lanky and Frail then, Bachchan looked unconvincing beating up bad men, but fans loved to see him do it. Lanky, frail and old now, Bachchan looks even more unconvincing beating up bad men. The question is will his fans still lap it up? Especially so since his fans are around his age and hardly watch movies?

Does Bachchan have a large enough fan base amidst the youth who throng multiplexes? The youth which normally watches buff bodies like the Khans or Devgn bashing up bad people?

Puri Jagannath directed Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap is an attempt to put the clock back for Bachchan, the question is does the clock still have enough juice in its batteries?

Singham, headling Ajay Devgn, gives viewers all that they loved in Dabangg, headlining Salman Khan, but with the added intensity that only Devgn can bring to a character that he portrays.

You wanted action? Well, beware what you ask for! The 2min 19sec trailer has over 2mins of breath taking action with a sprinkling of romance in between to calm you nerves.

And from what it sounded like to us, the trailer ends with the f-word!

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham is a remake of Tamil film Singam starring Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Prakash Raj.

Devgn reprises the role of Durai Singham played by Suriya, but Devgn's character in the Hindi remake is called Bajirao Singham, in deference to the film's setting in Maharashtra.

Sub-Inspector Bajirao Singham is a brave and just policeman who serves in his hometown in the border area of Maharashtra and Goa, primarily to fulfill his father's wish.

Singham settles every dispute in his town patiently with his words of wisdom and resorts to force (You have no idea how much of force!) only when the situation demands it.

A city girl, played by South actress Kajal Aggarwal, who comes on vacation to his home town, falls in love with Singham.

The question everyone seems to be asking is - Will Bajirao Singham make Dabangg's Chulbul Pandey look 'dheela?'

Sonakshi Sinha is excited about three more films that she has signed on for: Kick with Salman Khan, Rowdy Rathod with Akshay Kumar and Vishwaroopam with Kamal Haasan.

The one film old wonder, who turned 24 on June 2, has not looked back since her spectacular debut performance in Dabangg headlining Salman Khan.

Sonakshi is currently shooting her second film, Shirish Kunder's Joker, with co-star Akshay Kumar. She also features in Sajid Nadiadwala production's currently filming Housefull 2, which has an ensemble case of 18 leading actors so we assume Sonakshi's will get limited screen time.

Of her three new films, Sonakshi is excited about Shirish Kunder's Kick because she has a more substantive role in it than she had in Dabangg.

"Kick is a remake of South Indian film. The girl has lots more to do. It's a very good role. I'm very kicked about Kick. Yeah, there's definitely much more scope for me in Kick than Dabangg. And I am going to make the best of it," Sonakshi told Bollywood Hungama.

Later this month, she will begin filming for her first regional, Vishwaroopam, with Kamal Haasan. Her look in the film will be both Indian as well western and you can expect to see her flaunting her curves in a lot of stylish saris.

"I love to see myself in saris. I hope I get to wear lots."

Rowdy Rathod is a remake of S.S. Rajamouli's Telugu 2006 film, Vikramarkudu. The Sanjay Leela produced film directed by Prabhu Deva is an intense action thriller in which Sonakshi will get to romance a small-time thief and crook (Akshay Kumar) who is crazy about acts of dare-devilry.

Akshay's character takes on the notorious Chambal dacoits to revenge the death of his look-alike cop, Vikram Rathod.

There is more! Talks are on for her to pair up with Ranveer Singh, which could mean she may do a YRF film since Ranveer has a three film deal with them. He is currently filming for the second YRF film, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

"It'd be a good combination," Sonakshi assures.

Jyotin Goel's Pri and Me headlining Adah Sharma and his son Dev, who makes his debut with this film, will film their next schedule in Hyderabad, a source tells Sawfnews.com exclusively.

The evasive filmmakers have not revealed much about the film as yet but a source tells us that a highway sequence will be shot at Ramoji Studios in Hyderabad starting June 8.

The film additionally stars Anupam Kher and Juhi Chawla, who have reportedly not filmed their parts as yet.

Sanjay Dutt plays an important role of a police inspector in the film. He shot his part over 15 days in end April and begining May.

The film is a romantic comedy about two best friends. Adah plays 'Pri' short for Priyanka in the film.

There is a talk about changing the film's title.

The Limca girl recently launched her own website to stay connected with her fans.

"After my Limca commercial aired, a lot of people want to know more about me...to know what my next movie is about, what's the next endorsement, want to download latest images. I have a "talk to me section" where I'm trying to reply to most of the comments. I'm very flattered about the lovely things people have to say. Salman Khan and Asin captivated everyone at a special preview screening of their film "Ready" for underprivileged kids at Infiniti Mall in Versova, Mumbai on Thursday, June 2.

The two were dressed casually and interacted well with their young audience. Salman sported a cropped haircut, blue T-shirt with the logo of his nonprofit Being Human foundation on it, tattered jeans and a pair of black sandals.

Asin echoed the laidbackness of her costar, with hair worn down, a V-necked LPD cinched with a wide black belt, and open-toed black heels. Makeup was less is more, with beige eye color and pink lipstick. Most interestingly, the 25-year-old Ghajini star wore parrot green polish on her fingers and toes. Her jewelry was wisely kept to a minimum.

Ready is Salman's first film since megahit Dabangg. The film is about a wealthy heir who wants to have fun before having to settle down.

What we love about Sallu Bhai is not only is he an amazing actor but he makes time for worthy causes.

Dabangg 2 will be a continuation of Dabangg headlining Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, not a new story with the same characters, the film's producer and director Arbaaz Khan says in a new video post.

Arbaaz says he has almost completed the first draft of the film but it will take him some more time to come up with a shooting script. Once he wraps scripting he will work on the music, sign the cast and start pre-production to take the film on floor by the beginning of next year.

Arbaaz is confident that Dabangg the sequel will be as exciting and bigger and better than the original.

Salman Khan who is currently filming Bodyguard will next shoot for Yash Raj Films' Ek Tha Tiger and then work on Dabangg 2.

Zarine also landed a role in Housefull 2 after Salman put in a word to producer Sajid Nadiadwala, a close Salman friend.

Showing her gratitude to Salman, Zarine recently said, "I will never be able to thank him enough. He is an honest man, and I see myself falling back on him in times of difficulty. I shall forever remain loyal to him."

Zarine is currently filming for a L. I. Kannan helmed Tamil period film Karikalan with co-star Vikram.
