Detail Interior the 2011 New Ferrari FF Presentation in Maranello
0 comments Posted by bajol at 9:21 PMAt its front however, the FF is all Ferrari taking a lot of its styling cues from the Scaglietti it replaces and giving little indication of the alternative rear of the model. It features a wide-spaced front grille and two iterations of the iconic prancing horse. The FF also grabs the headlines for its engine arrangement.Under the bonnet it will hold the most powerful engine Ferrari has ever built in the form of a new 6.2-litre V12 engine. Mated to a transaxle dual-clutch F1 transmission, the FF has a massive output of 650bhp allowing the car to clear 0-62mph in 3.7seconds with a top speed of 208mph.This translates into wince-inducing CO2 emissions of 360g/km and a combined fuel consumption of 18.3mpg - a slight improvement on the 612 Scaglietti whose 470g/km CO2 emissions and 13.8mpg combined cycle were shocking.Another area the FF improves on its predecessors is in terms of practicality. Despite retaining Ferrari's typical three-door arrangement, it is longer and taller than the 612 Scaglietti meaning interior space and luggage space is not far off the Ford Focus estate.

Those of you that would like to get an up close peek at Ferrari's first-ever four-wheel drive model that also features a front mounted 660HP V12 and seating for four with a boot capacity of 450 liters, will have to make plans to visit next month's Geneva Motor Show, which will host the FF's world premiere.

The SA Aperta qualifies as the most powerful and fastest open Ferrari V12 ever offered. Ferrari decided to build 80 SA Apertas in celebration of Pininfarina's 80th anniversary, the company that has produced some of the world's most exclusive and memorable road-going Ferraris since the 1950s. The car's nomenclature, "SA" pays homage to both Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, whereas "Aperta" means "open" in Italian.
The SA Aperta is designed as a true roadster and it is not engineered with a full convertible roof in order to preserve its pure roadster outline. Its chassis and powertrain have been planned to achieve the performance expected from such an elite automobile. A chassis structure specially designed for the SA Aperta donates it with stiffness comparable to that of a closed coupe. Ferrari's expertise in transferring racing technology to road cars has headed to in minimal weight addition for the SA Aperta compared to the 599 GTB Fiorano.

Walking for seniors in the 50 plus group is one of the best walking programs that you can do as a sport or exercise. It is an easy activity for you; it doesn't cost much money to do, and best of all it is a healthy exercise. I think that a study needs to be done on walking as a senior exercise. As a Podiatrist I know that walking is an excellent senior exercise program that the 50 plus population should do for their physical and mental status.
This is Dr. Frank Ferrari, DPM and I know as a professional that all the seniors should walk. It is a terrific for you and easy activity to do. All seniors should walk everyday it does wonders for you. When you are walking with a walking partner, either with your chosen group or alone. No matter whatever distance you are walking you are exercising. This activity is very good for you and this activity prolongs your lives in a good way.

So the 599 GTB was already a great supercar when it first appeared in 2006, featuring a 5999cc V12 positioned at the front of the car longitudinally. It develops 611bhp and 448lb ft of torque and all of that power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission or Ferrari's 6 speed 'F1 Superfast' automated manual transmission with paddle shifters.
The 599 GTO is a blend of some of Ferrari's top technology from Formula One and road cars and occupies a niche between the 599 GTB & 599 XX. More menacing and less refined than a GTB, less raucous than an XX. This car is the best expression of a sports car Ferrari has ever made. A 6.0 liter, V12 engine that produces 670 hp at 8500 rpm and 457 lb-ft torque at 6,500 rpm and capable of impressive acceleration numbers to the tune of 0 to 62 mph in just 3.35 seconds. The engine is paired with an F1 six-speed gearbox, which has the same 60-millisecond shift times as the 599XX. The car has a curb weight of only 3,538 lbs. Only 599 cars will be produced and there are several custom colors and two-tone paint finishes exclusively for this GTO model. Designed by Pininfarina, the front, side and rear are bolder and more aggressive than its parent. Inside, a Virtual Race Engineer allows the driver to monitor the status of the car and its performance. Extensive use of carbon fiber is apparent, including in the cockpit where it is used both to reduce weight and as a design element. Ferrari's dedication to the GTO model is legendary, with two previous highly revered models. The three iconic letters, which stand for Gran Turismo Omologato, summon the spirit of the original 1962 250 GTO, the 288 GTO which helped spawn the modern supercar era and the F40, the fastest street legal production car from 1987 to 1989 and the most expensive model at that time. The 250 GTO won no fewer than three consecutive World Sportscar Championships and it is today the most sought-after collector's car on the market.

With the return of the legendary 'GTO' badge to a Ferrari for 2010, the question being asked by most people familiar with sports cars and Ferrari in particular is, 'is this the best sports car in the world?'The model lucky enough to get the GTO treatment and wear the badge is Ferrari's two seat flagship the 599 GTB Fiorano. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was introduced in 2006 to replace the 575 Maranello. In it's first year the 599 won the Evo car of the year, Evo being the premiere Magazine in Britain focusing on driver oriented cars and a global authority on performance cars.

For the past few years, Ferrari is still considered one of the most popular vehicles on the planet. Here are a couple of models to consider when searching for a new and used Ferrari.

1. Ferrari Enzo (FXX)A car is really good if Ferrari names it after its founder Enzo Ferrari. The Enzo FXX is a project still going, with the car getting updates still. The Enzo FXX is sold only when you're chosen by Ferrari and changes owner for about EUR1,300,0000. Maintenance is huge, about EUR40,000 per year. But everyone will look at you when you drive one, guaranteed. And when it's dark out... I dare you to take it out for a spin.
