In an interview with the show's hosts prior to the concert, Selena talked about her health, dating boyfriend Justin Bieber, doing a tribute to Britney Spears, and Nicki Minaj as her favorite singer.

"I am doing much better, I am good, I just need to take better care of myself. I was very low on iron, I was dehydrated and I was just exhausted."

"I am 18 so of course I want to eat whatever I want. My mum has definitely been stocking up on the vitamins."

Answering a fan question if she will ever record a song with Justin Bieber:

'I am not sure, whenever I do songs I do them organically so if it happens it happens.'

On pressures of dating Bieber:

"I am young I spent the first three years hiding and terrified about things like this so I am enjoying being young and having fun. I can't shut it all out, I am human, I read what is going on but I try to shut it out."

“We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video,” representative for Black said Thursday.

The life story of talent show sensation Susan Boyle is the subject of a new international musical, set to open on the British stage next year. SuBo has sold more than 14 million albums and set sales records since her jaw-dropping debut in 2009; that’s when the 50-year-old unlikely singing star was plucked from obscurity on Simon Cowell’s talent search show Britain’s Got Talent. Despite finishing as runner-up on Talent, she’s gone on to find worldwide success on the charts. In 2010, she achieved the rare feat of topping the UK and US album charts simultaneously twice in the space of a year. The last time that happened The Beatles did it back in 1969.

She’ll now see her inspirational tale transformed into a stage production, aptly-titled after her signature song, “I Dreamed A Dream.”

“I never thought my life story would end up on the stage but a lot has happened in two years and it is a very exciting prospect,” Susan says of the musical, which has UK sitcom star Elaine C. Smith tipped for the title role. “I hope everyone enjoys the show and I promise there will be a few surprises along the way.”

Meanwhile, Susan Boyle: The Musical producer Michael Harrison is comparing Boyle’s story to a modern-day fairytale, making it perfect fodder for a stage production.

“She is an inspiring woman and her story is an excellent one to tell – someone with a raw talent who surprises the world and overturns all the odds to make a new life for herself. It’s got all the qualities of a fairytale, but with the added bonus of being absolutely true.”

I Dreamed A Dream will open at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal on March 23 2012 before embarking on a worldwide tour. A 26-week tour of the UK, US and Australia has been lined up so far.

Goldie Hawn is teaming up with Sex and the City creator Darren Star for the new HBO comedy The Viagra Diaries.

The Viagra Diaries is based on Barbara Rose Brooker’s 2009 novel about a sex and relationship columnist on the lookout for Mr. Right. The 65-year-old grandmother has signed on to play an older woman who suddenly finds herself suddenly single and dipping her toes back in the dating pool for the first time in over 30 years after her husband has a midlife crisis and files for divorce. Diaries is Goldie’s first major role since she appeared in the 2002 film The Banger Sisters — for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her performance as former groupie Suzette.

The series will be Goldie’s first regular TV role since 1970.

ABC has renewed its thrill competition Wipeout for a fifth season, and producers have tipped former MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo as a new co-host.

The former Miss Teen USA will join hosts John Anderson and John Henson as a replacement for host Jill Wagner, who will depart the summer series after its upcoming fourth season.

“We will miss Jill, but are thrilled to welcome Vanessa to the team and excited to bring her enthusiasm to the show,” Wipeout creator and executive producer Matt Kunitz revealed this week. “She is a great host with a fun and natural energy that our viewers will love.”

Minnillo, who is putting the finishing touches on her wedding to crooner fiance Nick Lachey, began her career in television co-hosting MTV’s now-defunct video countdown Total Request Live. She went on to host various programs for the cable network before spending two years as a correspondent with TV newsmagazine Entertainment Tonight. The sometimes actress most recently hosted a season of the ABC reality competition True Beauty.

Wipeout’s fourth summer season will premiere Thursday, June 23 at 8/7c on ABC. A special sneak peek will air Tuesday, June 21 at 8/7c. The fifth season, featuring Minnillo, will premiere next winter and summer.

In a bid to impress his young relatives, Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds braved his fear of flying to play a superhero in The Green Lantern.

Reynolds, 34, who plays the role of a test pilot for the United States Air Force and later becomes the titular superhero in the fantasy sci-fi film, said he overcame his phobia for the sake of his nieces and nephews, reported Daily Star online.

“I’m not a big flyer at all. I’m a little afraid, I’ve always had problems with airplanes. But, in the film, I’m up on high wires all the time. Sometimes (flying) 60 feet (18 meters) a second.”

“It was really terrifying at first. But my nieces and nephews were just so excited about this movie. And I kept thinking about them and them coming to see this film. So you kind of (have to) get over all of that,” said Reynolds.

Prince Harry headed back to the warfront in Afghanistan? Looks that way.

The ginger-haired royal will be deployed to the ravaged nation after he completes Apache helicopter pilot training next year, Britain’s The Telegraph said Thursday. Harry previously served in the Helmand province of the war-torn country in 2008, but was removed after the media compromised his location. According to multiple reports out of the UK, Prince Harry will be deployed again when his squadron returns to Afghanistan in 2012.

“Harry is an army pilot and will deploy wherever the army chooses to send him. His course finishes in 2012 and after that his deployment will be a matter for the army chain of command,” a spokesperson for the Clarence House remarked coyly.

The 23-year-old was recently qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot.

Selena Gomez wasn't prepared to have people emulate her, but has learned to adjust quickly.

The teen singer and former Disney star says on a yet-to-air E! Entertainment Special: Selena Gomez, "I never really said I want to be a role model. But then when it happened I was so down for it."
