The “Simple Life” babe donned a studded denim dress overtop a floral print dress as she strolled past shutterbugs and back to her car.

Stepping out for a bite to eat, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and their son Sparrow were spotted heading to lunch at Daily Grill in Studio City, CA on Wednesday (May 4).

The fashion designer mama and her “Good Charlotte” hubby looked cute and casual as they walked along with Sparrow safe in his daddy’s arms.

Making her way to the sunshine state for work duties, Nicole Richie was front and center at a showcase for her fashion line, House of Harlow 1960, on Thursday (April 28).

The former “Simple Life” star looked marvelous in one of her own dresses as she posed for pictures outside the Neiman Marcus department store in Coral Gables, FL.

They’re both proud mamas, and last night (April 20) Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie were spotted at the Baby2Baby event in West Hollywood.

The “Fantastic Four” starlet and the “Simple Life” babe looked to be enjoying their time together at the Palihouse Holloway and were more than happy to pose for the paparazzi.

In career news, Jessica is featured in a new official still photograph from her upcoming children’s flick “Spy Kids 4.”

In the film, Jessica plays the wife of a spy hunting television reporter and mother of two who is a retired spy herself. It hits theaters on August 19th.

In a new interview with Teen Vogue, shopaholic Nicole Richie admits to owning more than 200 pairs of sunglasses. "But in my defense," she laughs, "I make sunglasses, so I have to research-shop, and I own every pair I've ever designed."

According to the House of Harlow and Winter Kate designer, she views sunglasses as "fun masks to accessorize your face."

The 29-year-old fashionista -- who angered hubby Joel Madden when she spent $3,000 on pillows in March -- says her go-to outfit is jeans and a tee, "but you change the look with accessories. And by accessories, I mean sunglasses, head scarves, shoes and bed jackets."

Though she always looks put-together, Richie admits it's more about feeling good than keeping up with the trends.

"Comfort takes precedence for me," she explains, pointing to her heels as an example. "These are super-high, but because they have a built-in platform, they don't feel like it. I am not that girl who can do super-arched heels. All the shoes I design have a cushion and a platform."

Getting in her daily workout, Nicole Richie was spotted heading to the gym in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday morning (April 13).

Geared up in exercise wear, the former “Simple Life” hottie looked ready for her Tracy Anderson workout as she headed inside the facility with a refreshing drink in hand.

Nicole Richie wants to dethrone Oprah as the queen of talk!

Now that Oprah is retiring her top-rated talk show after 25 years, Nicole is hoping to take her place and is working on a pilot for her daily talk show. "Nicole loves the idea of hosting her own show," a friend says. "She sees herself as the next Oprah."

And The View’s TV host Elisabeth Hasselbeck thinks she has what it takes! “I think she’s lovely. I think she’s the most wonderful woman,” Elisabeth told In Touch at the More and Fitness Magazine Half-Marathon on April 3. “I have a feeling she can do anything.”

Nicole’s pal adds that the concept of the talk show will include segments on fashion, celebrity guests and parenting tips, in addition to helping people improve their lives. "Nicole went from being a heroin addict to a happily married wife, mother and successful businesswoman," her friend says. "She'll share her own struggles and victories in hopes of helping others."

Nicole Richie would like to clear the air.

This past week, the fashion designer and mother of two became the subject of fresh pregnancy rumors after some blogs claimed she was sporting a baby bump in new photos.

Richie, 29, told Us Magazine in a statement Friday:

"Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant. This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity. To publicly point out a change in anyone's body is mean spirited and cruel. People's bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues."

Richie and rocker husband Joel Madden (they wed in Beverly Hills last December) are already parents to daughter Harlow, 3, and son Sparrow, 18 months.

During a January appearance on CBS' The Talk, Richie explained why she's not racing to have a third child.

"I don't think it's fair to ask someone that had two [children] back to back if they're going to have another one. Right now I'm like, 'Nooo!'," the former Simple Life star said, laughing, "But you never know. I need a nap!"
